Welcome to the Cairo Youth Soccer League website.
Cairo YSL is a nonprofit organization which has been running since 2000 to provide structured soccer coaching and competition for kids between the ages of 5-14. Our season runs during the fall school term – see 2012 dates below. The season culminates in a tournament where all teams compete to win the cup in their age group.
Info on the 2013 Season
Do to the current situation in Egypt, the delay in start of the CAC term, and the potential for a large number of students arriving late back to Cairo after the summer holidays, we are deferring the start of the YSL by three weeks. We hope to have the first registration on the 14th September. We anticipate that whatever happens we will have reduced numbers this year, and the leagues may be reduced to 8 teams. If this is the case, we can still complete a full schedule before the Christmas break. There may also be options to extend beyond the Christmas break if there are further delays.
We hope to run the 5 normal age groups; 5-6yrs, 7-8 yrs, 9-10 yrs, 11-12 yrs, 13-14 yrs and Girls Divison (11-14 yrs). However, this will be determined by the number of players that sign up
